While running at the gym, going for a walk or even just people watching at the mall I notice how many brands are being advertised.
The crazy thing is these advertisers do not get to pick who wears their logo. Do you think this matters? If a certain brand is trying to target one group of people but another is wearing their stuff will it change the brand? One that comes to mind is the brand Affliction they have a very pin pointed target market but anyone can buy their stuff.
This past summer we sponsored a softball team and well the girls got in a pretty competitive league and I am not sure they won more than a game or two. It actually got to be quite humorous but I think this could be a reflection on a brand. We will be sponsoring them again this year but on one condition… they win more than they lose
