Kaia joined tenacious in February of 2010. She and Tena met at church some time ago and then stayed in touch through Facebook. One day she reached out to Tena to ask if she needed any design work done, and she joined the tena.cious team shortly thereafter.
Art has been a lifelong ambition. After starting out in painting and sculpture, Kaia migrated to graphic design in 2005 and found her true love. She will graduate with a fine arts degree in graphic design in the fall of 2011.
What Kaia loves about tena.cious is the gratification of seeing smaller clients getting the branding they need and watching them succeed because of social media. “It’s cool to see how pumped up their business gets after we work with them. We get them the look and get them hooked up with social media. It’s fun getting feedback from happy clients. We’ve had some clients burst into tears out of happiness!”
The Real Kaia
Kaia is an artist and designer, both professionally and as a hobby. She has always had a love of art, enjoys painting in her free time, and incorporates artistry into her personal style. Her friends describe her as “very trendy,” “sassy,” “artsy” “earthy” and “funky.”
Kaia’s other love is food. And true to her nature, she brings design to this avocation too. “I love to cook. If I had to pick a career, I would smash cooking and graphic design into one. I cook everything, but I love desserts because you can make desserts really pretty.”
