Samantha came to tena.cious through a personal connection to Tena. The two women were college friends who became reconnected as moms of young children. “We took our kids on playdates together,” Samantha said. “That’s when I learned that Tena was thinking about starting her own company.” When Samantha was laid off from an advertising job, she was a perfect fit to join the tena.cous team.
Today Samantha writes for the tena.cious company blog, helps to post company updates, and helps with marketing planning from her home in Savage.
“I’m more of a behind the scenes person,” she said. These tasks work well for her mom schedule.
Samantha loves social media because of how flexible and creative it is as a marketing and advertising medium. “A lot of our clients don’t really know where to start. We are giving them a path and the steps to take to create a more successful company. The ultimate goal is to reach as many people as possible.” She has seen social media open doors for small businesses to obtain new clients far outside of the geographic region they were once confined to.
The Real Samantha
Samantha adores being a mom to her two little ones. She divides her days between two very young children, regular workouts at the gym and her marketing and blogging work with tena.cious. She also loves gardening and cooking the old fashioned way, from scratch. Asked how she manages her full time mom job and her job with tena.cious, she answered, “I juggle a lot. Multi-tasking is the key!”
